I am Ted, a business Chinese coach and tech market development manager with 7 years of international sales and marketing experience in PC, AI, and manufacturing industries.

My goal is simple:

To bring ready-to-use business Chinese and real industrial insight into real business situations, instead of textbook teaching.

Honestly, I don’t fully agree with how Business Chinese is usually taught. Many textbooks focus on complex vocabulary and phrases that are rarely or never used in real business situations.

At the same time, many traditional Chinese language programs tend to focus primarily on tones, vocabulary, and grammar, following a structured textbook-based approach instead of right business concept.

Of course, those are important.

But in real business, the right concept and clear logic matter more.

When your thinking is clear, your communication becomes simple and powerful — even if there are small grammatical mistakes. In most real situations, clarity matters more than perfection.

In my teaching, I build on that foundation while also integrating real-world communication, cultural context, and practical application.

My teaching style is conversation-driven and discussion-based.I encourage my students to think independently and express their own viewpoints. Through guided discussion, I explain the business logic and cultural insights behind the language — so you don’t just memorize phrases, but truly understand why they are used.
